Lexus, the German luxury brand, is set to sell the latest model of its flagship SUV, the A-class, to U.K. buyers in a deal valued at £25 million ($35 million).
The deal with Lexus A-series, which has been in production since the mid-2000s, comes a month after Lexus sold the A400, the most powerful compact SUV in its lineup.
The A-line will go into private hands next month, when Lexus will sell it to the new owner of the SUV, which will be owned by a buyer who is not part of the company.
Lexus will also sell the A300 and A400 to U and U+ buyers, who will get a free upgrade for two years.
The A300 will go to customers in the U.KS.
The deal comes as Lexus prepares to launch its new model, the E-Class, in the second half of next year.
